Kowa are national leaders in the design and implementation of First Nations-led Understanding, Measurement, Evaluation & Learning (UMEL) practice. The team are able to design, implement and support UMEL practice alongside Community, services, funders and practitioners.
IDS&G
Through academic research and on-the-ground experience, Kowa have developed the OCCAAARS Framework, a considered tool that supports Community, services, funders and practitioners to co-create principles and practices that ensure Indigenous Data Sovereignty and Governance (IDS&G).
Learning Partnerships
Kowa offers a learning partnership model that support Community, services, funders and practitioners to understand, learn and implement Community-led and Two-Worlds evaluation practice. Partnerships are focused on supporting First Nations peoples to step back into and lead UMEL practice.
